When we stood in front of it； the glass door swung open at once； and a beautiful waitress said wele to us as she led us to the second floor。 The environment of the Pizza hut was indeed enjoyable。 It was lit by many *all lamps on the ceiling。 These tables were laid with glittering china plates and polished knives and forks。 After we settled down at a square table； another young waitress emerged with two ornate menus。
Examining the menus in curiosity； Rachel and I discussed about food here animatedly。
“My friends told me there was a kind of dessert which tastes very delicious。 I want to find it out and order it。” Said Rachel； hastily checking the menu cover to cover； “Right； here it is！” She let out an excited shout； pointing at a certain picture。 I pulled the menu nearer to read the name of it： “Firenze Tiramisu？ How does it taste？” “Oh； it has the chocolate fl*or； with many tiers which mix cream； ice…cream and cake。” Then she turned to the waitress； “I want Firenze Tiramisu。” “Me too！” I added quickly。
“Hey； what kind of pizza do you two prefer？” asked mom； helping us turn the menu to the particular page which contained various pizza； and all of them made you feel hungry at the sight of them。
“we would like the one boasts different fl*ors！” answered Rachel and I。 Then we said： “the Super Supreme Pan Pizza will be suitable。” Mom told the waitress； “We want the 6 inches Super Supreme Pan Pizza。”
“We h*e a few specials on the menu these days。 And I strongly remend King Arthur’s Feast Pizza。” Said the waitress eagerly； “with lots of fresh toppings on the unique and crispy thin dough； every bite is delicious； allowing you total enjoyment。”
“King Arthur？” I said； raising my inquiring eyebrows。 “Isn’t he a fabled hero？”
“Yeah。” the waitress answered。 “We named this kind of Pizza based on King Arthur and the Round Table Knights legend。”
“OK； feast pizza is fine。” Mom said in conclusion。
“Right； a King Arthur’s Feast Pizza； two Tiramisu。 Anything else？” Asked the waitress while she was busy taking them down on the list。 “Don’t you want something to drink？
Then we ordered two Twin Berry Romance and two Kiwi Mango Rendezvous。 New Orleans Wings and Crispy Fried squid was ordered in case we would be hungry。 As for salad； we chose the self…service one and a waiter g*e us a *all deep plate to load salad。 Rachel and I received the glorious task of loading salad as much as possible； for every plate could only be used once。。 最好的txt下载网
A great feast（2）
Carrying the *all plate with us； we hurried to the self…service salad spot。 There were plenty of ingredients including apples； watermelon； papaya； maize； grapes； cucumbers； love apples and so on。 Various exquisite dressings were also *ailable。 This made us feel our responsibility was really huge； for if we were not careful enough； we could only fill the plate with a little fruit； which was not desirable at all。
We began to load our plate with fruits。 In order to make good use of the limited volume of the *all plate； we decided to use the bricks of watermelon to build a wall on the edge of the plate； and then filled in everything we like。
Once the plan was done； we quickly took actions。 A tier of watermelon was perfectly pleted very soon； but it proved to be more difficult to build the second tier than we expected because the edge of the plate was not horizontal which meant the watermelon would easily collapse because it was not vertical。 It suddenly occurred to me that we could use the *ailable dressings as cement to stick bricks of watermelon firmly。
Rachel spoke highly of my idea； and we successfully built a three…tier watermelon wall by doing so。 The next things were much easier now； all we needed to do was to load fruits we liked to the plate through the hole from the top of the wall。
Scoops of various fruits were filled in。 We also used the scoop to spoon the dressings up and put it on top of our salad。
“There are still some *all space； but not big enough to be filled with any pieces of fruits。 What a pity！” said Rachel indignantly； “How cunning the restaurant is！ They charge us RMB 60 for the self…service salad but give us such a *all plate and we only can load once！”
“Forget it； Rachel。 We are here to h*e a try and fun。 Don’t let it ruin your mood。 If it is too dear to bear； next time we can change another restaurant to enjoy ourselves。” replied I in a cool voice； “Since we chose the dish； our prior task is to make the full use of the tiny plate。”
“That’s right。” Rachel said； *iling； “I just want to； you know； plain a little and let out my anger。”
“What do you think of putting in some maize？” I suggested。 “Do you like maize？”
“Good idea！” Rachel cheered； “You fill the plate with maize； and I’ll go to fetch some dried grapes。”
Minutes later； our wonderful salad was finished。 It looked like a tiny pagoda。 When Rachel carried it with great care； I went before her to make sure there was nobody in the way in order to guarantee the safety of our salad。 We drew everyone’s attention all the way to our table； whose mouth fell wide open； which made us even prouder of our masterpiece。
When we went back； all the dishes were already served on the table。 Inhaling the fragrant fl*our； we couldn’t wait to tuck in。
Rachel’s mother was busy dividing the King Arthur’s Feast Pizza into pieces and distributing them among us。 I was enjoying Kiwi Mango Rendezvous while Rachel was trying Firenze Tiramisu hastily。
The food here was really delicious。 My drink； Kiwi Mango Rendezvous； was of agreeable sweetness and pleasant to the palate。 It was capable of relieving heat and thirst； too。 Firenze Tiramisu was also of unique Tiramisu fl*our； and every bite was pleasant。
One hour later； the banquet was loaded in our stomachs。

My mobile phone

Suddenly it was July 15th； it was not long before I would go to Guangzhou。 The looming departure was what I was longing for。 No wonder I couldn’t suppress my excitement。
Wanting to contact with me more conveniently； mom bought me a new mobile phone。 It was of Samsung brand； for mom was a keen fan for Samsung make and she used to own two Samsung mobile phones。 She insisted that Samsung is the leading provider of mobile phones and tele systems in the world； so when I was admiring a noble blue slider of Motorola； her face was gloomy and kept hinting me that Motorola was not as good as Samsung at all； making the assistant’s face as gloomy as hers。
Finally； I chose a mobile phone in a Samsung shop which mom steered me into。 It was styled as slider because I thought sliders were stylish and fashionable。 Although the assistant strongly remended a phone featured Touch Sensitive Keypad； saying： “Unlike ordinary keypads； Touch Sensitive Keys respond to just a light sweep of the fingers。 And the back…lit keys automatically illuminate in blue when you slide up the phone。” I shook my head； for I saw no need of spending more 200 Yuan on the functions I didn’t need。
My mobile phone； with its minimalist and futuristic design； boasts a super slim frame and a glossy； mirror…like surface。 It es with an affordable ； and es in a variety of vivid； lively colors including sapphire blue； candy pink； ice silver； and pure black。 Since the other three were not *ailable in this shop； my only choice was the pure black。 Mom was quite satisfied with the finality； because she was afraid that I may want candy pink or ice silver which was too eye…catching to remain in safety。 Mom always tries not to draw any attention from people with modern gadgets or precious things like necklaces。 she is careful and keeps warning me that misfortune to people who do not encounter may only be one to a million； but to people who encounter it is 100 percent。 I am on mom’s side； so I always obey her instructions about safety。
My mobile phone offers highspeed internet connectivity； as well as extensive multimedia and audio capabilities。 But I didn’t need the functions because I only want to municate with mom more freely and I agree with an old saying very much “playing too much make people lose their goals”； besides； according to rules of HSFZ； students are not allowed to use mobile phones in campus； because such beh*ior will certainly distract students’ attention。
All in all； I will make good use of my mobile phone； *oiding the disadvantages it may bring to me and discipline myself。
TOEFL iBT Test

The new generation of TOEFL test was launched in United States in 2004； and adopted by China officially in 2006。 It is called “TOFEL iBT’ （TOEFL internet…based test）。 pared to the old versions of the TOEFL test； here is a shift of emphasis from grammar to munication in an academic setting。 Therefore； a Speaking Section has been added and the Writing Section expanded。
I h*e determined to take the test next year； so every change of the test concerns me very much。 For this reason； I spend much time searching the internet for uptodate information。 When I searched for information about how to register for the TOEFL test； I got some absurd； ridiculous； and annoying news beyond my expectation。
“Yeah； yeah； some people just register for many quota once it is allowed to apply for； and then sell the quota for more money；” I told Aldo； nodding my head； “see； the TOFEL iBT initially costs RMB 1200 or so； and the sellers charge RMB 5000…6000 for each position！ So it was said that all the positions *ailable from September to December were taken up within 3 hours once it was allowed to register。”
“Wow！” Yelled Aldo； with his eyes wide open and an unbelievable look on his face； “It seems that Chinese people are all born great busines*en； er？ They can make business out of everything！”
